What is Food Tempering?

Food tempering is a process of bringing frozen food products to chilled temperatures. There are different methods of food tempering such as microwave up-tempering and rapid air up-tempering. Microwave up-tempering uses state-of-the-art microwave technology to take products from frozen to Chilled within 60 seconds. This method is efficient and effective in thawing and tempering frozen food products in the food industry.

Rapid Air Up-Tempering is another method by which food products can be taken from frozen to chilled temperatures. If your products have been kept below 0°C and need to be distributed at chilled or ambient temperatures, then Rapid Air Up-Tempering is one of two services which can be offered.
